Allantoin ist ein Wirkstoff, der entzündungshemmende, wundheilungsfördernde, zellregenerierende und keratolytische, hautglättende Eigenschaften besitzt. Es ist besonders für zu Akne neigende Haut, zur Narbenpflege, bei trockener und gereizter Haut sowie für schuppende Kopfhaut empfehlenswert.
